Having begun my career in banking I soon developed a passion for numbers. This led to a variety of financial positions over the years in many different sectors. I progressed from an Accounts Assistant in a large aeronautical company to a Business Manager in education.
Another passion of mine is food so I was delighted when I landed my dream job that combined the two – working in the accounts team at River Cottage HQ. This is where I flourished and where I really became aware of healthy eating and living, not to mention numerous environmental issues, thanks to Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall’s campaigns regarding sustainable living and his war on waste. Whilst at River Cottage I embraced these environmental values by implementing a paperless system into the accounts department. However the highlight of this job was when I joined Gary Barlow for a glass of wine on one of his visits!
Alongside my current position as Practice Manager at Chalmers & Co Accountants, I am developing my doTERRA business. doTERRA are the largest essential oil company in the world producing certified pure therapeutic grade oils. I have discovered the amazing power of these oils and how they can be used to manage health and well-being. I was so shocked to discover the amount of harmful ingredients that go into our household and cosmetic products that I am now on a mission to reduce the amount of toxins that are becoming part of modern daily life and to share a more natural solution.
